Biography
Vincent Mattis Becker is a PhD candidate at the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research field is Quantitative Marketing, with particular focus on online and social media dynamics. Specifically, he builds models that explain and predict whether and why users engage with creators and content, with special interest in properties of content, users, the user–creator relationship, and platform dynamics that influence these outcomes. Here, he combines streams from the machine learning literature for modelin, with the psychology/advertising literature to develop theories on the drivers of online behaviour.
