PhD Learning community: action-oriented research

Three women standing arm and arm and smiling into the camera

In this study group, we connect early career researchers at the EUR in a peer learning community. The aim of the study group is to create an informal safe-space for learning together about doing research that is engaged, action-oriented or transdisciplinary, and links closely with societal challenges.

Together, students discuss questions, share experiences and methodological struggles, but also formulate and test new ideas. They also create a lasting network across faculties. Through organizing this learning community, the DIT platform aims to provide space for and educate the next generation of action-oriented researchers at the EUR. We meet monthly for 1 – 1,5 hour sessions in a hybrid setting, making use of different formats: from intervision sessions where questions are discussed in small groups, to more in-depth presentations and expert sessions.

Are you an early career researcher and would like to join us?

Send an email to dit@eur.nl. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
