The Leadership in Commodity Trade and Supply Networks programme has started. The first leadership challenge is the Courage Day with dr. Wouter Jacobs, Maarten Frowein and inspirator Marc van der Kuilen.
Dr. Wouter Jacobs of Erasmus UPT, Centre for Urban, Port and Transport Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam is the main driver of the program.
Soft skills and strategic insights
Jacobs: "There is a great need in the industry for depth and context. Need for soft skills. This training is the only one in Europe and it offers answers to complex and strategic issues that determine world trade. "
Learning by doing
The program at Erasmus University combines academic insights with the necessary practical experience. Learning through reflection is central to the program. Where real world cases, role plays and scenarios are discussed in detail. It's learning by doing. At each of the 7 different masterclasses, experts from the industry put the participants to the fire. Participants conclude the program with a week in Singapore. This is done in collaboration with the International Trading Institute of Singapore Management University.
