Feeling Orange course is a course in which the different disciplines within ESHCC come together. All ESHCC exchange students will be automatically registered for this course. This course will take place in Term 2 & 4.
Please carefully note the following requirements and restrictions:
- ESHCC exchange students should follow at least 50% of their total number of courses within their host department (i.e. Arts & Culture Studies, History, or Communication & Media). You also have access to designated courses in other academic fields at Erasmus University Rotterdam based on schedule availability and subject to being approved by the respective programme directors. Please visit here for more information regarding this matter.
- The minimum amount of EC you are required to take per term is 5 EC. The fulltime (and maximum) workload during the exchange programme is 30 EC per semester (15/17.5 EC per term). Undergraduate (Bachelor) students can ONLY take BA courses. Master students can take MA & BA courses. The level of the available courses is specified in the course offer overview.
- Courses not mentioned in the course offer list are NOT open to exchange students.
There are 4 procedures associated with your course registration:
- Course registration: To indicate your course preferences, you have to fill in a Studyplan form. The form will open during the course registration period. Make sure to read the ‘Course registration’ manual carefully before the course registration period. About 1-2 weeks after the deadline has passed, you will receive an email (in your EUR student mailbox) with your assigned course(s).
- Group registration: Some courses have tutorials, and some seminars have multiple groups. After you are selected for courses, you must register for a tutorial or seminar group that fits your schedule (of all courses) best. Make sure to read the ‘Group registration’ manual before the group registration period.
- Late registration: This procedure is for students who have missed the course and/or group registration deadline or have to make adjustments in their course and/or group registrations. Make sure to read the ‘Late registration’ manual before the late registration period.
- Deregistration from a course: If you want to drop a course after being assigned to it, you can do so up until the day before the start of the Term. Make sure to read the ‘Deregistration from a course’ manual before the start of the corresponding term.
