Biography

Angela Thissen is a PhD Candidate in Health Economics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Pieter van Baal and Dr. Tanja Houweling. She is an alumna of the Tinbergen Institute and a trained economist with research interests at the intersection of gender, health, and socio-economic inequalities. In her PhD research, she studies how family-support and reproductive health policies relate to inequalities over the life course.
