The unique opportunity to study at four different European universities, with students from all around the world and learn from the various national approaches to healthcare problems is the main reason why I chose the EU-HEM programme. Each university has its own specific expertise and identity, allowing you to obtain in-depth knowledge of several aspects of the healthcare system.

During the programme, you will approach complex healthcare problems from a European perspective, and you will learn that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' solution, challenging you to come up with innovative ideas to tackle these difficulties. For me, the EU-HEM programme was the perfect opportunity to build a global network. It allowed me to go to international conferences, discuss healthcare problems with high-level stakeholders and to partake in internships around the world.

So if you are interested in dealing with international healthcare problems and are willing to set yourself apart, I would definitely recommend this programme, as it is the perfect start to an (inter)national career.
