The cultural sector is one of the most vibrant and lively sectors to work in, but its job dynamics and opportunities are also precarious, informal and difficult to grasp. Culture Calling! was brought to life to concretize the opaque contours of careers in culture.
The key mission of Culture Calling! is to find, collect and share information about the cultural sector and specifically its professional opportunities. By sharing knowledge, facilitating conversations and connecting people, we aim to enrich the education-at-large of students and recent alumni of Erasmus University Rotterdam. We create unique content to support this mission. Think of the organization of events, writing reflective articles, interviewing, and the creation of podcasts and videos. In addition, we strive to become an online library curated with relevant research, accessible information and publications on the cultural sector.
