The Erasmus Education Lab consists of a lab-area and a studio-area. The lab-area contains various spaces that can be used for inspiration sessions and didactic training. The facilities of the lab are available for lecturers, support staff and students of the Erasmus University that are working on innovating education.
How to use the lab
Are you a lecturer or student working on innovating your education? Or do you want to share your ideas and experiences with those who are interested? Contact educationlab@eur.nl or get in touch with the Learning Innovation contact of your faculty.
Want to use the lab space for a larger event? Please use the form at the bottom of this page. Keep in mind that the event must have a clear link with educational innovation.

If you want catering for your event or session, you can indicate this in the web form at the bottom of the page. Don’t forget to add your department’s budget number. If you require a more luxurious variant of the standard catering, this can be indicated under ‘other comments’. Please also inform us of any dietary requirements.
No costs are charged to faculties and support departments within Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). Costs do apply to EUR BVs that use the rooms.
The lab is not a standard meeting room, you should contact Rooms and Facility Bookings (rfb@eur.nl) if you wish to hold a meeting. However, if your meeting focuses on educational innovation, you can book the lab. You should explain this on the web form at the bottom of the page.
The lab can unfortunately not be used for drinks or dinners. The lab is intended as an educational area. If you wish to arrange drinks, please contact the campus catering facilities.
It is possible to arrange lunch during your event. If you wish to do this, please add your budget number to the web form at the bottom of the page.
As a student, you can discuss your educational innovation ideas at Students-for-Students (S4S). S4S offers financial support to various student projects. These projects can use the lab for their events and inspiration sessions. Their website contains more details on how to obtain support as well as about the existing projects.
The Education Lab rooms are intended for innovation sessions and events and cannot be used as study place. If you are seeking a study place, please visit MyEUR to see where these are on campus.
