For lecturers

Skyline of Rotterdam.

Are you a lecturer and would you like to collaborate with Erasmus Verbindt? Send us an email at erasmusverbindt@eur.nl and we will go through the steps below together.

Step 1: Introduction lecturer & Erasmus Verbindt

During the first meeting, we will get to know each other. We will discuss the content and learning objectives of the course and the needs of the lecturer.

Step 2: Research phase and network discussions

Based on the input from step 1, Erasmus Verbindt draws up an internal profile. Based on this, we first search the existing network of approximately 180 partner organisations in the region. If no suitable match is found here, the team will make new contacts with additional organisations or we will draw on the network of colleagues elsewhere at the university. In this phase, many exploratory discussions are held in order to be able to provide tailor-made solutions for the lecturer.

Step 3: Match-making and starting collaboration

If Erasmus Verbindt thinks it has found a 'match', this will be presented to the lecturer. If approved, Erasmus Verbindt will schedule a pairing meeting between the lecturer and the intended partner organisation. Under the guidance of EV, mutual expectations will be coordinated during this meeting and concrete working agreements will be made.

Step 4: Completion and evaluation

During the course, Erasmus Verbindt will of course remain available for questions or comments. After completion, there will be an evaluation with the lecturer and stakeholders, in which the process, the collaboration and the results can be reflected upon. If a final symposium/final presentation is organised at the end of the course, Erasmus Verbindt will also be happy to attend. This offers the opportunity to meet external parties again, to get to know the students and to highlight the successful projects via, for example, EUR's social media channels.
