Research Development & Data

Support for developing research projects, accessing data and research resources, conducting data collection, and strengthening research capacity.

Research Visits (Outward & Inward)

ERIM supports research visits of up to one month to develop joint research projects or papers with colleagues at reputable institutions. Visits can be outward or inward and may also include participation in externally offered courses.

Purchasing Databases

ERIM provides financial and technical support for acquiring additional databases when existing resources do not meet your research needs. Requests are jointly assessed by ERIM and the Erasmus Data Service Centre.

Purchasing Microdata

ERIM may provide support for acquiring microdata, such as detailed data on individuals, households or establishments. This support serves as seed funding and may help researchers secure additional funding for full projects.

Data Collection in the Field & Field Experimentation

ERIM supports data collection in the field and the design and conduct of field experiments, including Randomised Controlled Trials. This support serves as seed funding and may help researchers secure additional funding for full projects.

Data Collection in Lab Experiments

Research conducted at the Erasmus Behavioural Lab may receive financial support from ERIM, primarily to cover the compensation of participants taking part in experiments.

Personal Research Assistants
