Our flagship course is designed for professionals working in organizations that regulate or inspect the quality and safety of health and care providers. The programme consists of two multi-day in-person sessions in Rotterdam, complemented by an online teaching day.
This international course is a collaborative effort between the Expert Group on Health & Care Regulation, the Care Quality Commission (England), the Norwegian Board of Health Supervision, and the Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate.
The course is developed and delivered by:
- Ian Leistikow | Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM) and Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate
- Jan-Willem Weenink | Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM)
- Victoria Howes | Care Quality Commission
- Einar Hovlid | Norwegian Board of Health Supervision
In its first three editions, the course welcomed 76 participants from 12 countries, equipping them with the insights, tools, and skills to strengthen regulatory practice in their own contexts.
