With the AICON team, Erasmus Professor Moniek Buijzen puts theory into practice using a variety of methods that stimulate curiosity, imagination, and inspiration. An open invitation to explore the spaces in between—to dare to find one another.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we organise the following activities:

Students from the Willem de Kooning Academy invite visitors to formulate a prompt by submitting an existential question that is on their minds. The artists are free to choose a question that resonates with them. Within a short period of time, they use their personal creativity to answer the questions posed by creating a clay sculpture. The human creative process remains visible. The results are exhibited on site.

A safe space to slow down and express your personal thoughts on AI openly and thoughtfully. Together, we'll create a work of art that evolves over time, in which every contribution matters.

More screen time! What?! That’s right: more screen time, to make a real contribution to immunotherapy research. How? By playing a game developed by ChangeGamers and NKI/Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. Artist Bart Eysink Smeets designed an art installation that invites people to play and engage in a dialogue together in a world where cells become a game and every click contributes to research: identifying cells and thereby training the algorithm.
