Sketch an object and bring it to life in acrylics – explore color, depth, and composition with your own treasured item or a provided object.
In this workshop we’ll start by sketching an object from observation, and then build it up using acrylic paint. Looking closely, mixing colors, creating depth through color, and choosing a strong composition are the key challenges in this workshop.
Bring a small, meaningful object of your own—such as a shell, a figurine, a stone, or even a piece of fruit. There will also be some items available to choose from.
We provide the materials.
Teacher: Jolanda Linssen, visual artist and a teacher of visual arts in drawing, painting, and graphic techniques.
