Ever dreamed of spending some time abroad for your study or internship? Come join our physical fair on Tuesday 4 October at the C Building in the Theil hall. Get yourself educated to navigate the, sometimes, daunting world of studying abroad, and broaden your horizon.

Find all the information you need at the Erasmus Goes Abroad: Studying and Internships Abroad Fair 2022. During the fair you can visit stands, attend sessions from your faculty and you will also get the chance to win one of three A.A. van Beekfonds scholarships worth € 1100, € 700 or € 350!

The actual fair will take place in the Theil hall (C Building). There will be faculties, the International Office and different organisations.

  • A.A. van Beekfonds
    The A.A. van Beekfonds aims to promote scientific education at Erasmus University Rotterdam and provides financial support for students going on an exchange or internship abroad.

Organisations

  • AIESEC
    AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. They are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.
     
  • AON
    AON is an insurance and consultation company that can help you decide which travel insurance you will need for your exchange abroad.
     
  • Campus France
    Campus France is the French Agency promoting higher education for international students. Are you interested in studying or looking for a specific exchange or language program? We will gladly answer all your questions and tell you all about student life in France! 
     
  • Duitslanddesk
    Duitslanddesk is a part of the Duitsland Instituut Amsterdam and serves as the central contact point in the Netherlands for information about studying in Germany.  
     
  • ESN
    Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation. Their mission is to represent international students, thus provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students.
     
  • Insure to Study
    Insure To Study provides insurance for students during their study or internship abroad.
     
  • Language & Training Centre
    The Language & Training Centre (LTC) is the centre of expertise and partner for language testing, language training and (oral and written) communication skills training. They are part of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
     
  • Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School (NAHSS)
    The NAHSS’ goal is to enlighten the next generation about China's dynamics and opportunities, through knowledge and personal experience, to prepare them for a future career with China in the picture.
     
  • Stage Global
    Stage Global is a leader in International Exchange programs, founded in 2010.  Stage-Global entity has various programs under Stage-USA, Stage-Australia and Stage-Euro. Programs offered include internships, traineeships, Summer Work & Travel, Au Pair and Short-term Trainings with a particular focus on larger cities. Stage-Global is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and New York City, USA.
     
  • Travel Clinic
    Travel Clinic Erasmus MC provides medical services for your exchange. They can help with vaccinations and for medical questions during your trip or if you unexpectedly return sick.
     
  • VrijVrouwe Fundatie van Renswoude
    VrijVrouwe Fundatie van Renswoude provides Dutch students with study grants for their exchange.

A.A. van Beek fonds will award 3 scholarships to EUR students who are planning on going abroad for a study exchange or an internship! The awarding of the 3 scholarships will be done by Mr. Maurits van Beek.

During the fair you can fill in a lottery ticket at the A.A. van Beekfonds stand. Afterwards you can join the lottery to see if you win one of the prices:

1st prize € 1100, 2nd prize € 700, 3rd prize € 350

Rules for participating in the lottery

  • First year bachelor students are excluded from the lottery. Sorry, you may participate next year!
  • You need to be present in the event at the time of the draw. Should your name be drawn while you are not present, your lottery ticket will be discarded.

In order to receive the scholarship

  • The A.A. van Beek Scholarship is made available by the A.A. van Beek-Fonds for study exchange or an internship abroad, except for countries that use Dutch as their lo­cal language.
  • Students must have been registered at EUR for at least two years.
  • You must meet the requirements of the A.A. van Beek fonds, which can be found at the www.aavanbeekfonds.nl
  • The requirement of being eligible for the supplementary grant from the Dutch government (DUO) does not apply to this lottery.
  • You must follow the AAVANBEEKFONDS on Instagram.
