While most of us are still asleep first thing in the morning, the avian world is already experiencing its rush hour. A host of different birds you normally would not encounter come out of hiding to start their days. How can you spot them? In what way can you call them towards you? And what do these animals all do while we have barely woken up?
As spring is approaching a host of different bird species are coming back to the Netherlands. Join the ecologists of Bureau Stadsnatuur in the twilight dawn as we go and search for rare birds and other animals in a small group. During our search, they will tell you all about what is happening in Rotterdam’s hidden nature. So, do not miss out on wildlife by sleeping in and join the EURly Birds!
Bureau Stadsnatuur is a knowledge institute working on a nature-inclusive city. It is a small professional organization with extensive knowledge of wildlife throughout the Randstad, with an emphasis on Rotterdam and its port area. They are a part of the Natuurhistorisch Museum Rotterdam.
Since we do not want to harm or spook the animals, there are very limited available tickets. So, sign up quickly!
