We warmly invite you to a special and inspiring guest lecture by Martijn van Leerdam from Pauluskerk Rotterdam. As the pastor-director of Pauluskerk, he is dedicated to serving the most vulnerable groups in our society.
Pauluskerk is a well-known institution in Rotterdam and throughout the Netherlands. The church stands ready to help those often overlooked: the homeless and undocumented in Rotterdam. The church provides these groups with practical assistance (such as food and haircuts), legal support, and intensive guidance towards sustainable solutions for their situations.
In this unique guest lecture, Martijn van Leerdam will delve into the harsh realities faced by the homeless and undocumented in our city. He will highlight the complex causes of their situations, including political stalemates and societal indifference.
This lecture aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of equality in the everyday lives of Rotterdam’s citizens and the various institutions involved.
