Resilience and developing it is still primarily an individual responsibility. However, a recent report by the Raad voor Volksgezondheid en Samenleving emphasises that we have gone too far in the individualisation of mental health.
Should we still place this responsibility on the individual? Or should we structurally reorganise our society so that individual resilience becomes a widely shared responsibility? What social, technological and systemic innovations are needed to achieve this?
What can you expect?
At the Medical Delta Café on Thursday afternoon, 6 November, three researchers and a practitioner will share their views on this issue based on their own backgrounds and expertise. Together with the audience, they will discuss individual, social and systemic responsibilities when it comes to young people and well-being. Short presentations will be interspersed with discussions and concluded with a networking reception.
