Summary: We investigated whether the shape of the bone structures of the knee, and some of the ligaments in the knee, are related to the incidence of VKB and AKB rupture. We compared patients who had ruptured their VKB and/or AKB with those who did not. We compared radiographs and MRIs of these patients to see if shape variations were different between them. The main result of this thesis is that multiple shapes and multiple volumes of the knee differ between patients with and patients without a VKB or an AKB rupture.
