This thesis focuses on relevant aspects of functioning of adults with cerebral palsy (CP). It describes the different steps in the development of the Comprehensive and Brief International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) Core Sets for adults with CP and its results. These ICF Core Sets can be used to support the standardization of assessment and reporting of functioning of adults with CP in clinical practice and research. This will facilitate the comparison of data across studies, disciplines, and settings worldwide.

It also provides important insight into blood pressure in adults with CP. Our findings underscore the importance of clinical screening for blood
pressure in individuals with CP beginning in young adulthood. More information is also provided on subgroups at increased risk and on potential risk factors that influence blood pressure levels in adults with CP.

The public defence will take place at the Prof. Andries Queridoroom, 3rd floor Education Center, Erasmus MC. The ceremony will begin exactly at 15.30 PM. In light of the solemn nature of the ceremony, we recommend that you do not take children under the age of 6 to the first part of the ceremony.
