Dissertation in short:
This thesis has been an effort to improve the outcomes of patients suffering from endstage heart failure treated with left ventricular assist device (LVAD) therapy. Moreover, this thesis aimed to assess and thereafter accurately predict the onset of adverse events to aid in future patient selection criteria.
