Music from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, and other films, directed by the famous composer himself!
In the film world, Alexandre Desplat holds the status of a demigod. Over the past twenty years, he has received twelve Oscar nominations for Best Original Score—more than any other composer. The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra has performed his music before, but this is the first time Desplat himself will be conducting his own work.
A feast of recognition: cinematic enchantment!
“Alexandre has the awareness, intelligence, and the ability to know when he needs to propel his voice or whisper. He is one of the greatest composers in the history of the genre.”
– Guillermo Del Toro
