In honor of the 60th anniversary of the Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) Art collection, the Erasmus Gallery presents ‘SEEN’, an exhibition of photographs that have been added to the collection over the years. The exposition lasts until 24 May 2024.
The exhibition features work by national and international photographers; Wout Berger, Dan Graham, Scarlett Hooft Graafland, Risk Hazekamp, Hendrik Kerstens, Ellen Kooi, Dana Lixenberg, Erwin Olaf, Marleen Sleeuwits, Berndnaut Smilde, Fiona Tan en Hans Wilschut. They captured a specific moment in time, some staged, others are a snapshot of reality. With their photographs, they share what they have seen.
EUR Art Collection
The EUR has been collecting contemporary visual art since 1963 to contribute to the intellectual and cultural environment of students, staff, and visitors. The collection now comprises over 2,200 works of art, which together form the EUR Art Collection.
