Developments regarding the Bloomberg/ Eikon Class

The Bloomberg license will be cancelled

There are two developments that will have consequences for the Bloomberg/ Eikon Class.

The first development concerns Bloomberg. Due to budget cuts the Bloomberg license will be cancelled. This wasn't an easy decision and we are aware that for some people it has great ramifications.

As of June we only have 2 accounts left, in September we have only 1 account left. February next year this last account will be cancelled. Until August there is 1 terminal left that students can use. The single remaining terminal in September will only be available to researchers.

A lot of data that's available in Bloomberg can also be obtained from the LSEG Workspace environment.

The second development concerns Eikon. Refinitiv has a new owner and therefore Eikon got a new name: from now on it's called LSEG Workspace. LSEG stands for London Stock Exchange Group
