Executive Board President to step down in 2016

Pauline van der Meer Mohr, President of the Executive Board, has indicated that she wishes to hand over the gavel in the first quarter of 2016. This news was announced by the Supervisory Board this morning.

Supervisory Board Chairman Hans Smits: ‘The Supervisory Board is sorry to hear about Pauline’s decision, but it respects her wish to follow another career path in 2016. The Board wishes to express its appreciation and gratitude for everything achieved at Erasmus University since 2010 under Pauline’s presidency.’

Pauline van der Meer Mohr: ‘It is with great satisfaction and a sense of deep gratitude that I look back on almost six wonderful years at Erasmus University. In 2016 it is time for a new president to take over the baton so that I can devote myself to the many other interests I have always had. Until then I will continue to dedicate all my energy and enthusiasm to making this excellent institution grow and flourish.’

The search for a new president will start soon. The process will be carried out in close collaboration with representatives of the academic community.
