Profile
My research interests lie in international economics and sustainable development. My PhD research focuses on explaining the success and failure of liberalizing the economy. The main question is not about whether developing countries should open their economies but how such countries should liberalize so that they would be better off after all. To address this issue, one must know how to justify whether one’s country is successfully gaining from liberalization, how to develop policies that would boost the gain from economic liberalization. Therefore, it is important for countries to clarify where they are standing in the maze of globalization and what they should do to make the best out of international trade and cooperation.
