In the pre-master Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship, you will enroll in a few select courses at the Bachelor’s level of Arts and Culture Studies. You will become acquainted with the basics of cultural economics, research methodology, innovation and cultural industries, and the organization of the cultural sector. After a successful completion of the pre-master, you will have all the knowledge you will need to meet the entry requirements for the master specialisation Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship.

Our students
The master specialisation Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship in Rotterdam will be ideal for two types of students:
- students who are driven by an academic curiosity about the arts, cultural industries or economics;
- students who want to develop original and well-founded ideas about how to produce, sustain and disseminate culture.
We usually welcome 50 to 65 students into our program from around 150 applications. Students are accepted on the basis of previous academic achievements and a well-documented interest in the cultural sector. You will study alongside students from all over te world with diverse experience in the field.
