Amin Noori

Student International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics

Economics has always been a passion of mine, and after my second gap year from high school, I was ready for a new and exciting journey.

IBEB has allowed me to really look at everyday occurrences in a more rational sense. Frequent reminders of how essential macro and micro-economics are, can be found in all parts of day-to-day life. This is what really interests me and what attracted me to this subject.

The past year, I wanted to get more engaged with the international community at the Erasmus University. Therefore, after application, I attained the position of Vice-President at ESN. It has been a very fulfilling year, organizing events and creating a welcoming environment for international students during their stay in the Netherlands.

My time so far at Erasmus School of Economics has been amazing. I’ve made lifelong friends and tried things I never thought I would. The city of Rotterdam has truly become my home away from home. Its modern architecture and great international vibe truly allow for it to live up to its nickname, “Manhattan on the Maas’’.

Lastly, I want to point out that being part of Erasmus School of Economics opens doors for many opportunities. It is up to you to go and grab them!
