I got a good and complete picture of the masters. It was especially nice to be able to ask questions to current master's students.
Esther is in her second year of the Bachelors in Law. She followed various sessions during the Online Master Open Day on 23 March 2021. From the Master Employment Law to Togamaster (Toga aan de Maas). She is still in the process of orientating herself, but she now has a fuller picture of what choices are available.
"The Zoom meeting during the sessions was very nice. A good, complete picture is given of what the master entails. In addition, there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The programme was explained in a much more specific way than when looking up the webpage of the programme on Erasmus University Rotterdam website. Apart from professors and lecturers, there were also (former) students present to answer questions. This way, you get a very realistic picture of what the study really entails, whether you can work in addition to your master's, what the flow is like to practice, and so on. The disadvantage of Zoom is that you only see the speakers in a small box and the PowerPoint is very large. That makes it hard to see facial expressions."
