In my view, the practical knowledge on economics on one hand and the mathematical knowledge of econometrics on the other hand is a great combination.

Student BSc²

What I value most of my bachelor Economics and Business Economics is the wide range of courses. In this bachelor I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about diverse sections of economics, such as accounting, finance, marketing and macroeconomics. I am now well prepared for starting my career. However, during this study I found that I’d prefer having more mathematical background on the economic theories.

By deciding to start Econometrics as well, I could not only prove the economic theories I had learned before, I also got the techniques to make predictions on the future. My mathematical and analytical skills have been improved, and I’m sure I’ll benefit from this for the rest of my life. In my view, the practical knowledge on economics on one hand and the mathematical knowledge of econometrics on the other hand is a great combination.

Whatever I’m going to do after graduation, the skills I have acquired will be useful for every job I’m going to get.
