The Exam Registry of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) contains information about the diplomas issued by EUR since 1990. Using this registry one can easily verify whether someone actually graduated at EUR, what the related academic programme was, and more.
Who's in it?
The EUR Exam Registry contains information about all holders of all initial (or pre-experience) diplomas issued by EUR since 1990. Both full-time and part-time students are listed in the register. It also contains information about most of the diplomas issued between 1980 and 1990, though once again only if alumni have given permission for this. Information on post-initial (or post-experience) diplomas is included in the Exam Registry from 2018 and onwards, provided there is consent from the alumni. Post-Experience diplomas from before that period are only incidentally included in the register.
Once an alumnus has given permission to have his or her examination information incorporated in the exam registry, it (usually) takes five business days before the information becomes accessible online. Alumni cannot influence the contents nor the layout of their examination information in the Registry.
Alumni can apply for the addition of their examination information in the Exam Registry online and at all times.
Who’s not in it?
If someone is not listed in the EUR Exam Registry, this does not automatically mean that this person is not an alumnus of EUR. If an alumnus does not give permission to have his or her examination information incorporated in the Exam Registry, this information is not accessible through this Registry. EUR asks each prospective student before they enrol in Studielink if they want their examination information to be added to the Exam Registry ('online diploma database'), but this can also be done at a later time by applying for it on this page.
Additionally, the Registry does not contain information about the following types of diploma certificates in any case:
- Alumni of MBA before 2008, MBI and certain LLM programmes (post-initial programmes that meet EUR requirements)
- PhD students
Alumni can apply for the addition of their examination information in the EUR Exam Registry online and at all times. Apart of this diploma verification method it's also possible to obtain a diploma extract via DUO's Diploma Registry, or to ask EUR to manually verify your examination information. Please refer to the webpage Diploma Verification to review all related options.
What’s in it?
The information in the EUR Exam Registry is accessible online, though some personal information of the alumnus is required to fill out a search request. If an EUR-alumnus is listed in the Exam Registry, the following information about this person is accessible:
- Initials, infixes and surnames of the alumnus.
- The names of the academic programmes for which the alumnus was awarded a diploma.
- The examination type associated with the diplomas of the alumnus: propaedeutic year, doctoral (Eng. PhD, LLM), bachelor degree (BSc, BA, LLB), or master degree (MSc, MA, LLM, MBA).
- The date on which the listed diplomas were awarded.
Alumni cannot influence the contents nor the layout of their examination information in the Registry.
