LA has many sides: we need to start to know about a) theories of self-regulation and reflection to design LA tools, we need to b) identify what data is relevant and how to develop tools for handling and analyzing data also with machine learning approaches, we need to c) understand how to enable actionable LA and how to design insightful visualization and effective feedback and also d) understand how to evaluate LA interventions.
Additionally, we need to develop a culture on data for learning and teaching and implement it in organizational policies. This networking event will look at these different dimensions and give starting points and evidence on these questions.
