The Erasmus Honours Academy offers special programs for highly motivated students, willing to do more than the regular curriculum demands of them. Honours programs offer students opportunities to develop and nurture their talents by enrolling in a challenging and demanding setting in the intermediary zone between academia and society.
The focus on creating positive societal impact, as envisioned in the EUR strategy, is reflected in the profile of EUR honours education as well. The aim is to empower students to develop academic excellence and skills by addressing urgent global societal challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration and mutual learning. Honours students are engaged students, interested in exploring how scientific knowledge and Erasmian values can make a difference in society, putting the EUR Strategy 2024 into practice.
During the EUR Honours conference 2020, we want explore the implications of this focus and explore opportunities to further strengthen this process.
