In this interactive workshop Prof. van Tulder (author of various books on Sustainable Development, but also of a leading textbook on skill – Skill Sheets) will work with you on the following ambitions:

Developing relevant so-called ‘21st century Skills’ And making them purposeful by linking them to the most challenging agenda of the moment – the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by the year 2030

The needed teaching and research innovation will be illustrated through a number of the initiatives that have already materialized on the EUR campus: (1) a changed motto of RSM (linked to the SDG agenda), (2) teaching activities around the SDGs (leading to an upgraded bachelor programme that for instance has materialized in the creation of SDG posters and an integrated skill programme in support of the SDGs), (3) an innovative Master Programme (organized by the department of Business-Society Management that is the largest capacity group in the world on this topic), (4) the initiative of a so-called SDG-professional (together with societal stakeholders creating a market for students and professionals). The workshop will look at the various skill requirements that are needed to serve the SDG agenda and the type of teaching innovation that can be further pioneered in order to enhance this ambition further.

This talk is meant for EUR students, lecturers and support staff. Please sign up by reserving a free ticket in our ticket shop!
