Media, Culture & Society
The master Media Studies offers a one-year pre-master for promising candidates who do not have a previous education equivalent to an academic bachelor. This preparatory programme caters in particular to students who have limited experience with media and communication theory and social-scientific research methods.
The pre-master is suitable for graduates of HBO (Dutch Higher Vocational Education) programmes or equivalent international programmes that deal with similar topics as the Media, Culture & Society programme, but with relatively limited academic depth.
