Discover Rotterdam
With over 175 nationalities, Rotterdam is a cultural melting pot. You can see this diversity reflected in its various restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and takeaways. Take the metro to the small restaurants at Deliplein in Katendrecht, or hop on an e-scooter to explore the eateries and cafes on Witte de Withstraat. Going out and enjoying the nightlife is always an option in Rotterdam, from clubs like Maassilo and Annabel to bars along Nieuwe Binnenweg and in the Oude Noorden neighborhood.
Rotterdam is renowned for its art, culture, and architecture. Visit one of the many museums, admire the city from a height at the Euromast, stop by the Cube Houses (Kubuswoningen), or take a stroll along the Kop van Zuid. The Erasmus Bridge has become an iconic symbol of the city, offering a stunning view of the skyline. Rotterdam is a green city with numerous parks. Kralingse Bos is the largest park in the city and is located close to the Woudestein Campus. The charming Vroesenpark and the beach at Hoek van Holland are also recommended during the summer months.
