MEL Extracurricular Professional Development Programme
MEL also offers a number of extracurricular activities as part of the Extracurricular Professional Development Programme. The Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS) comprises a series of open seminars, by prominent business executives and academics, usually on a MEL subject that makes headlines. Based on the Netherlands’ state-of-the-art transport infrastructure and technology, each year the Center organizes a number of Company Visits in Holland and abroad, where students can see how theory is applied in practice. The Professional Development Courses (PDC) are short intensive seminars in cooperation with partners such as BIMCO.
