Loan description	The Erasmus University Rotterdam is participating in the Private Loan Programme from Sallie Mae. EUR students with U.S. citizenship may apply for the Smart Option Student Loan and the Sallie Mae Parent Loan. The loan is meant to finance your stay at the EUR and could cover your tuition fee, room & board and miscellaneous.

Loan amount	Variable, based on your financial situation and needs. Use the budget calculator in order to estimate the total amount of financial aid you still need. Include the cost of living in the Netherlands and the tuition fee for one year; Mention the amount the budget calculator provided you with, in the Sallie Mae application form. The International Office EUR will evaluate whether the requested loan is indeed reasonable.
