TeachEUR provides reference points for professionals to ensure that their teaching is more varied and interactive. Our suggestions are there to be enriched and personalised by the lecturers that use them. The teachEUR team is keen to receive feedback to ensure that the website can develop further. Your feedback, ideas, new teaching methods and tips for new tools are always welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The teachEUR team will continue to work until end 2020 to expand the number of teaching methods and improve the content. Management and maintenance of the tool will then be transferred to another party by CLI. The contact address will remain unchanged: email@example.com.
How it works
The filters on top of the page are used to select teaching activities. We recommend starting with one filter and gradually adding one, to get a manageable amount.
- Learning goal: what do you want to use the activity for, based on Bloom’s taxonomy.
- When: are you looking for an activity to use pre-class, in class or post class?
- Duration: an estimate of the time needed to execute this activity with students.
- Where: are you planning to use the activity on campus, online or both at once (hybrid)?
- Group size: do you want to use the activity for a small (max. 10), medium (max. 50) or large (more than 50) group?
After picking an activity you will see suggestions for tools and materials on your screen. In many cases it's possible to use alternative tools. Please turn to the Learning & Innovation team of your faculty (EUR of EMC ) first to see which online and offline tools are available and how to apply them.
Each teachEUR activity has its own illustration. Sometimes our illustrator is still working on a new illustration, in that case the image showed here is temporary visible.
