High-quality education requires continuous reflection. Are we doing the right things? And are we doing those things right? These two questions are central to our approach to quality assurance at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). Our quality assurance policy 2025-2029 "Quality Dialogues: Connecting & Improving" focuses on a development-oriented approach that allows for autonomy.

In a rapidly changing world, as a university we must remain agile and impactful. Students, employers, and society expect our education to address current challenges. Therefore, we choose a development-oriented approach encouraging ownership at the programme level.
We build on a strong foundation. We have a shared educational vision, robust quality dialogues and engaged staff and students. We engage in open, constructive conversations about education to drive continuous improvement.
Now we take the next step: more room for autonomy and ownership, embedded in systematic stakeholder involvement. This future-proof quality assurance practice enables us to achieve our shared objectives.
