    Students-for-Students walk-in hours

Got an idea to improve education? Students-for-Students (S4S) will offer you (financial) support to make it happen!

Students-for-Students (S4S) stimulates and facilitates students to set up projects that contribute to improving the quality of education for students. We support such projects through advice, practical support in kind (rooms for events, facilities etc.) and financial support. S4S is funded with the money released when the Dutch basic student grant (“basisbeurs”) was abolished. These funds were subsequently allocated to the universities for the purpose of improving the quality of education.. We are now returning this money to the students by getting students themselves to contribute to improving their education.

Do you have a good S4S idea that you would like to receive support for? Or do you have any questions? Visit us during the S4S walk-in hours. S4S-initiative The Research Group will also be present.

How do you educate students for an unknown future? - by Erdinç Saçan

Developing students in an ever changing world is a real challenge in education. Changes in technology have created a situation which makes information and thus free open learning environments a readily available commodity. Tools for learning are becoming interactive, context aware and intelligent in a rapid pace. This opens up possibilities to approach teaching in a completely open manner. Giving ownership, trust and safety in a strength based approach creates new settings for personalized learning where students have ownership over Content, Level, Pace, Style and Data.
