After twenty years, Erasmus University China Center (EUCC), with offices in Rotterdam and Beijing, has evolved into a network organization in which Dutch and Chinese universities, business companies and other organizations participate. At Wednesday 29 August this anniversary will be celebrated with lectures and speeches on the cooperation with China.

Over the past 20 years, EUR has signed 8 MoU’s at university level with Chinese top universities and more than 50 Agreements at school/institute level, more than 50 Chinese PhDs have graduated and around 30 well-organized China trips, including seminars, lectures, etc. Wednesday 29 August 2018 Erasmus University celebrates the 20th anniversary of EUCC.

Erasmus University China Center (EUCC), previously called CHERC (China-Holland Education & Research Centre), was established in 1998 with Prof. Lammerts van Bueren as first chairman and Prof. Hans de Doelder as second chairman. The purpose of EUCC is to support and stimulate the academic co-operation between the Erasmus University Rotterdam and its Chinese counterparts.
