The study programme in a nutshell
The pre-master Arts, Culture and Society is a highly intensive one-year programme, preparing you for the master Arts, Culture and Society. The programme focuses on three elements: theory, academic skills, and research skills. After successful completion of the programme, you get direct access to the master specialisation Arts, Culture & Society; you will receive an offer to enrol in the master's programme.
What you will learn
In the pre-master, you will be educated as an academic professional. During the pre-master you will focus on writing essays and articles and on conducting social scientific research. At the end of the pre-master year, you can put your newly gained research skills and knowledge to good use when you write your final paper, a Bachelor thesis.
