Corporate Rule of Law Responsibility

The CRLR project is an interdisciplinary research project that joins researchers from Utrecht University’s Faculty of Law (Annika van Baar, LL.M), Economics (Dr. Peter-Jan Engelen) and Governance (Prof. Judith van Erp), and Erasmus School of Law (Prof. Liesbeth Enneking). Taking an empirical approach, the researchers draw on legal, economic and governance theories to study the effects of legal and non-legal regulation of large multinational business enterprises with a view to preventing corporate human rights abuse.
