Appointments with student psychologists can be held online and on campus. MS Teams will be used for online. Please read our instructions in your confirmation e-mail. If you have questions, please contact us at studentpsychologists@eur.nl.
The student psychologists aim to offer support to students who have study issues and psychological, social and/or emotional problems that are hindering their study progress. If the student psychologists are unable to offer students the support they need, they will refer them to other external support agencies. You can book an appointment by using our menu on the side.
- Open consultation hour - At the Open Consultation hour you can briefly discuss your symptoms to decide together with the psychologist whether it would be worthwhile to refer you to the student psychologists. Schedule an open consultation hour appointment.
- General Intake - In a General intake your problems, symptoms, background and needs will be discussed to decide what further support is needed. You can make an appointment for a general intake here. Â
- Groups and workshops - For enrolment in a group, you schedule an appointment for an intake interview to decide whether participation in such a group would be beneficial for you. More information on our groups and workshops.
- PhD psychologist - For PhD's is our PhD psychologist available. You can schedule a PhD intake interview here.
Important!
If your symptoms are so serious that you need help urgently, we advise you to contact your own General Practitioner immediately. If you do not have a G.P. already, we strongly advise you to register with one. You need a G.P. for a referral to any medical or mental health treatment. In the Netherlands you are required by law to have a health insurance. A European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) often provides insufficient coverage to receive proper mental health care. Here you find more information on Health insurances.
