The EUR translates the ambitions set out in Strategy 2030 into activities across five impact domains. These are key societal issues in which the EUR can have a real impact. The Engagement Board has been established to support the EUR in this regard. The Engagement Board develops a shared vision on engagement, organises governance and ensures coordination, collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the university.

Strategic advice on impact and engagement

As a university-wide body, the Engagement Board provides the organisation, including the Executive Board, with strategic advice on how EUR can utilise its knowledge, networks and people to engage with others and make an impact at local, regional and (inter)national levels. The board advises on matters including:

  • Policy and quality frameworks
  • Collaboration with partners within open innovation networks
  • Outreach activities
  • Alumni policy
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Staff societal engagement (recognition and rewards, skill development)

Composition of the Engagement Board

All faculties, Engagement and Research Services (ERS) and EUR Holding are represented in the Engagement Board. The members of the Engagement Board are:
