Copyright Information Point

Welcome to the Copyright Information Point (CIP) of the University Library of the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Copyrights are a common aspect of academic education and research. Lecturers, researchers and students often use works by other people in teaching material, scientific articles or theses etc. However, those works are usually subject to copyright.

The CIP provides information and advises lecturers, researchers and students on copyright matters in education and research.

The FAQs for each target group, tailored specifically to EUR, can be found on this page. If your question is not listed, please contact the Copyright Information Point.

If you have any questions about copyright in general, such as the use of audiovisual materials, citations, the use or reuse of work by third parties, publications and the creation of works, please have a look at the SURF website Copyright in Higher Education.
