As of September 30th, 2025, EUR will transition its repository platform from Figshare to DataverseNL (hosted by DANS). This transition will be led by the Erasmus Library Repository Team. The change will impact Erasmus staff members who have accounts and/or datasets (published or unpublished) on the Erasmus Data Repository (EDR). Some research management systems, such as DMPonline and Pure, may be impacted.
Why are we switching to DataverseNL
This change has become necessary as Figshare's service agreement no longer aligns with the evolving requirements and needs of Erasmus University Rotterdam. As a result, the university has made the decision to transition to a new service provider.
