First meeting of IMP Alumni was a great success!
On 19 November 2016, the alumni and current students of the Master International Public Management and Policy of the Erasmus University Rotterdam met for the first-ever alumni reunion. Former Prime Minister prof.dr. Jan Peter Balkenende delivered the keynote lecture.
The IMP Alumni Association was formally launched at the event held at the Rotterdam’s Hotel New York. More than 100 past and current students registered for the event. They were joined by the former and current faculty and staff, as well as members of the Advisory Board of the new IMP Alumni Association.
The keynote lecture, delivered by J.P. Balkenende, focused on “Governance, Internationalization and a Sustainable Future. Decision Making in the International Political Arena”. In an hour-long interactive session, Balkenende discussed the current challenges for international governance.
About the master
MSc in International Public Management and Public Policy (IMP) is a selective one-year graduate program that seeks to make students aware of the increasingly multinational and international nature of public management and public policy-making; to provide them with the scientific theories, concepts, and tools needed for analysing this international multi-level 'space', and to equip them with knowledge and experiences relevant to public careers with international dimension.
