Profile
Koen Migchelbrink is assistant professor Public Management at the Department of Public Administration and Sociology, Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB), EUR. He has a background in political history, comparative public administration, and statistics. In his research, Koen focusses on interactions between citizens, public officials, and government. He conducts research on public managers’ attitudes toward public participation, citizens’ trust and satisfaction with government, and the effects of communicative nudges on citizens' behaviour. Koen teaches the International Public Management course in the master programme International Public Management and Public Policy, and part of the Dutch language course Publiek Management en Organisatieverandering.
