Application minors 2020-2021

Did you check the minor overview and made a choice? On this page, you can find out more about out how to apply for a minor.

  • In 2020-2021, minor placement for EUR-minors, LDE-minors and minors in Leiden or Delft will be done by lottery.

From Wednesday 1 May (00:00h) up to Sunday 31 May (23:59h) 2020 you can register a maximum of 5 minor preferences in OSIRIS Student (available via myeur.nl). You can choose from EUR-minors, LDE-Minors and minors from Leiden University and TU Delft. In the beginning of June the lottery will take place. The lottery will take the order of your preferences into account. Be advised: the less minor preferences you register, the higher the chance that you will not be placed on a minor. When you register your preferences (during the registration period) has no effect on your chances to be placed in a minor of your choice.

Haven’t been placed? Did you forget to register your minor preferences in time? Or would you like to change minors? From Monday 15 June till Tuesday 30 June you can register for EUR-minors that still have places available after the lottery. Registration is done in OSIRIS Student and is also on a lottery basis where you can register a maximum of 5 minor preferences. It is no longer possible to register for LDE-minors or minors from Leiden or Delft.

If you have already been selected for a minor, but you want to switch, you must first unsubscribe from that minor before you can submit your new preferences. Please note: a minor deregistration cannot be undone. You have no guarantee that you will be selected for a minor in the second lottery draw, so it’s possible that you may not have a minor registration at all.

  • If you meet the requirements for a minor with a stay abroad from the ErasmusMC, you can register 1 minor preference in OSIRIS Student (available via MyEUR) from Wednesday 1 April (00:00h) up to Wednesday 15 april (23:59h).

Between 16 and 22 April the minor coordinators will select the students who are being admitted to the minors. Between 23 and 29 April you will receive the results of the selection.

Selected? You will be registered for the minor, of which you will receive a message. This message will also state if there are any additional requirements that you have to meet, for example: no resits during the stay abroad. When you are selected and registered for a minor with a stay abroad from ErasmusMC, you can not take part in the regular minor lottery in May.

Not selected? You will receive a message. From 1 May up to 31 May you can enter the regular minor lottery.

Disclaimer: due to the coronavirus it is possible that a number of stays abroad of the ErasmusMC deepening minors may be canceled. In that case, the coordinators of the relevant minor(s) will make every effort to offer an attractive alternative program.
